Car Damage...

Charlie woke me up this AM because Diamond (one of the horses) was standing outside my bedroom window at my car. My Dad had let her in the front of the property with a long rope on her to be able to catch her. Her rope got hung up on a cable by the front of my car (normally I don't pull that far up, unless it's raining). I guess she got frustrated at my car & took it out on it. She bit the hood in a couple of places, one spot the clear coat was gone. She also chewed on the driver's mirror & broke a couple of screws that hold it into place. Luckily, it was still on the car. She also got the door going up the post. I think it's all minor repair & hopefully our insurance company isn't going to be too upset with us... especially, ME!

Singles Conference...

Today, I went to a Singles Conference at the Georgetown Church. It was awesome! I met a lot of new people (not too many guys there) & the teaching/preaching was so good. One of the topics that was discussed was "Trust". As singles, we have an issue with trust; because we have either been burned by a spouse, parent, child, boss, friend, family, etc. Many of us have issues with trusting again. It is only by the help of God that we are really able to heal & trust again. If we can put our complete trust in Him, He will help us through. The Evangelist that spoke at night preached about "Knowing How to Survive in the Meanwhile". It's true... we have to know how to survive this world & get through things!

Rain, Rain...

... Go AWAY!!!

I think it has rained so much that we are floating around this area. I'm tired of being sick & congested too. I seem to get well & then boom, it hits me again! I took pictures this evening after it has rained for a few days.

I'm thinking... maybe I should invest in a good pair of rubber boots to slosh around in. All of the brown/white looking areas are water.

YES, there is that much standing water in my front yard. I should have taken a picture of my work & even our gravel driveway at home.

Saying Goodbye...

... to a very, good, loyal dog! This winter has been very cold & wet. Saturday, I noticed that Little Dog was lying over by the water trough beside my house. Later, she was moved a little further so I picked her up & carried her back to mom & dad's garage. I noticed that she was having trouble getting up on her back legs. I thought uh-oh b/c that's what happened to her mom a year ago & then she died. Monday, my dad couldn't find her anywhere. I looked for her a couple of times that evening & late that night. It was dark when I got home so I was looking around with a flashlight & the lights we have outside. I didn't find her until the next morning when I was leaving for work. She had died. I'm really sad but I know she was a good dog.

When looking me up, you have to look for my 'original' name. FYI ~ It is my legal name again!
