Car 2 Shop...

I hate driving a rental car! Left my car at the shop this AM. While the guy was going over the paperwork at the rental car place, he says: there is no smoking & pets allowed in the car. I wanted to say: I guess the last guy didn't respect that cuz the a/c is on full blast blowing cigarette smoke on me!!!

In Awe...

Church was awesome today!!! I think I say that a lot but it truly was good today. I'm still tired from my trip, but in awe of God! To have the confirmation today that the next level is coming, wow! I am truly speechless from the great presence of God that I have felt this weekend. God is so good & His mercy endures forever. If you don't know God on a personal level, I urge you to reach out to Him & get to know Him better. It was stated at Ladies Conference... however much you prayed, read your Bible & fasted last year, it ain't enough... we need to do more for God!

LUV Conference...

I went to the Ladies Conference on Thursday & Friday in San Marcos. I did see lots of old friends from Houston, including a childhood friend - Monica. It was so anointed & touching that I do not have words to describe. It was a Time To... Heal, Laugh, Dance, Love... Ecclesiastes 3:1-8... ¹To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: ²A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; ³A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; ⁴A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; ⁵A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; ⁶A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; ⁷A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; ⁸A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. I am still in awe of the presence of God that was there!

Speechless, almost literally...

Absolutely Speechless! (not me huh?) God was SO awesome... I'm still in awe. I woke up early ONLY to go pick up my kids. I'm sure they will be excited to see me. My voice is weak & I can barely walk, but I still have a song, dance, love & laughter in me. ♪♥♫♥♪ Later: Charlie & Daisy were so excited when I went to get them. Ran a couple of errands with them & they enjoyed the ride. Charlie got his nails trimmed & they're much better!

Things to Do...

Things to do before Ladies Conference: unload car to reload, pack clothes, bathe dog, change turtle water, but most of ALL - mow grass! My dad came knocking on the door for me to come mow, so... Just got done mowing 1/2 of the front of the property (my dad mowed the other 1/2). Love mowing but think another night might have been better. Oh well, it's done & glad I could help! I still have a lot to do before going to bed, including washing my hair. I guess I will fix it in the AM. I'm so excited!!!

Voting...

It's a sign of the times that we now have to vote to have the values that used to be part of our basic society... not to mention earthquakes in diver's places. Get Right or Get Left!!!

Please continue to pray for my childhood friend & missionary, Shane Hayes, & his family. They are safe & have been reached with resources but their power is out again. They say this power outage might last 2 days. There is so much devastation, they just need prayer.
