Update on Mom & Dad's Health...

Today my parent's went to the Doctor...
1. My mom is very anemic & has to have 3 iron infusion (IV) 1x a week. I am thankful Matt has been off during the week a day to go with my mom for these treatments. It is too hard on my dad to take my mom every week.
2. My mom's cancer #'s have been going up a point or two every month since December. Normal is 37.7 (I think) & she is around 54 or 55. The doctor wants to run all the bone scans & CT Scans again to see what is going on (very hard on my mom).
3. My dad has had bloating or fluid since his last heart surgery in July. The doctor says his heart is doing well & not to worry about the fluid. However, you can tell my dad has excess fluid & weight in his body & I think he feels sluggish from it all.
4. The doctor determined that my dad has rheumatoid arthritis & this is why his joints (hands, legs & arms) have been hurting so much. My dad is taking a drug (forgot the name) to help with this symptom & it seems to be relieving a lot of the pain.

New Kitty...

This is the new kitty from my side job... she's so cute! Her name is Penny (she was already named). She came home in the basket & stayed in it for about 2 days. Charlie guarded her nonstop! On day 2, she learned how to crawl under the doors & go into other rooms. The catfood is on top of the dryer & she is too little to jump up there. She will cry (whine) until someone picks her up & takes her to the food. She also whines alot... it's really cute!

The Weather...

I'm lovin' the cooler weather! It's nice & cool at night & a little warm in the afternoon. I think it's going to be rather warm this weekend but more fall like next week. I put my fall decoration on my front door a few weeks ago to bring out the Fall Spirit. It's still not cool enough to turn off the a/c & open the windows. I did that one day earlier this week & it was hot when I came home. Have a Happy Fall!

Random Thought...

Today, I had to return an envelope that I received that was addressed to Scott. As I wrote "not at this address", the little pitched fork man sitting on my shoulder was whispering in my ear. I almost continued writing more... "moved in with girlfriend after sleeping with daughter". However, I refrained from doing so & dropped it in the mailbox. (I know:: that's awful but just wanted to share my random thought of the day.)
